Divers on the Lake

There will be divers on the lake June 20 - 30 looking for Brazilian Elodea that Washington State Department of Ecology saw two years ago. 

Thurston County Noxious Weeds will be doing the diving that is funded by a $40,000 grant we received last year from the Department of Ecology. 

Brazilian Elodea is a non-native noxious weed that is very invasive, like Milfoil.  We are fortunate to get the grant and go after this weed aggressively before it starts spreading.
