Long Lake LMD Update

Dear Long Lake LMD Members,

You asked for some added email communication - so we are here to deliver!

Votes have been cast and counted, and with a yes vote from nearly 60% of the popular count, and over 80% of the weighted count, the Long Lake LMD is renewed for 25 years. Thank you all for your support of the LMD!

There is a final step - the formal adoption of rates into the tax rolls. All members of the district will receive a mailed notice.

The final public hearing where this will happen is on December 2, and the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting where it takes place begins at 2 pm. We would appreciate a continued presence of support, either in person or on ZOOM (which can be found on the BOCC Meetings page). Your public comments in support of the adoption of the LMD, as voted on by the residents, will be meaningful and appreciated!
