FYI...The annual harvesting in Lorna Canal is completed in lieu of herbicide treatments which were found to be a total failure due to the rate of water flow from the wetlands. The LMD learned by trial that the cost to harvest Lorna Canal was a more effective use of funds.

ABOUT NORTHWEST AQUATIC MANAGEMENT

Family-owned and locally operated by Kyle and Summer Steelhammer, Northwest Aquatic Management has served communities for more than twenty years and will be on Long Lake July 1-2, 2026, for the annual Lorna Canal weed harvesting.
